Carved and Painted Seagull on Driftwood birds and ribbon The flaw on the backOne sees a fair number of seagulls on driftwood when poking around the coast of Maine, but this one struck me as quite lovely and nicely done, and definitely with some age to it. The gull is carved of wood, with the wings made individually and inserted into recesses carved in the body. The legs are steel wire, inserted into the driftwood, holding the gull firmly in place. Nice aging to the paint, and I think it's good from 360 degrees. Appriox 7 1 4"
