I love its shape and proportions, the worn dark wood, and especially the way the handle comes through the end. Great for pounding the heck out of something, (or just admiring:) 10 3 4 x 4 x 2 7 8". The wood is well worn with some cracking, but that's part of what makes it wonderful.
