Slightly more concentrated than the 2012
but if anything
(25% new oak from a mix of 35 and 65 year old vines)
powerful and quite serious with brooding flavors that brim with dry extract that buffers the firm acid spine on the intensely mineral-driven and explosively long finish
woodsy accents
Tollot Beaut, Aloxe Corton Rouge Vintage:2015 Slightly more concentrated than the(from Les Petits Vercots, Boutires, Les Cras and Crapousuets). A ripe yet cool and airy nose puts forward essence of red currant, cherry and plenty of earth elements. The succulent, round and exceptionally rich middle weight plus flavors coat the palate with dry extract while delivering unusually good length on the mildly rustic finish. This moderately firm effort is an unusually good Aloxe villages and is also recommended. 89 2023+
