done in the 1930s I believe

This heavy plate with a beautiful aqua green glaze and incised design of three whales circling around a triple spiral at its center was made in a limited edition by the United States Quarry Tile Company in conjunction with the Romany Spartan Ceramics Company in the 1950's

Top drawing 5 3/8" x 3 1/2"

I  really love how wear  on these old sets gives them a nice softness to their once hard edges

The guiding handle which runs down the middle of his body

Crazy Folk Art Black Cat on Post tree stump candleholders done in the 1930s II think someone had a lot of fun making this crazy cat, perhaps for Halloween given the huge orange bow, which is quite a thing in combo with pink ears, green eyes, and I am not sure what the yellow is next to its tail! Attached to a metal post, so easy to stick in the lawn for Halloween, or anytime, but I might make it a housecat to have its company all the time! Cat is 16 1 8" tall; 23 3 4" tall including post. 11" wide, 7 16" thick. Very good
