winding its way up and around the R from its cross-hatched pot below would be the perfect thing to hang in the room of a child with a first name starting with "R

There's not a chip or crack on it that I can see

against which the cream arrow and stencil painted letters pretty much glow

with some wear to the wood and finish and  a couple of white spots near the center of one side

It was someone known, though, and has the feel of a New Yorker cartoon to me, perhaps just in wait of the perfect caption! Great from cap to shoes I think, especially all that ink drawn pattern, and seems like a nice one to hang either in the dressing room, to inspire efforts toward dapperness, or near the front door to inspire preparedness for
