Vintage Gouache on Paper Southeast Asian Painting of Floating Market Boat woman and child with one scratch at theI love everything about this painting, from the bright red boat, to the confident figure in yellow pants fishing from the boat, to the wonderfully specific baskets full of fish and other things including what I'd guess are lemongrass stalks, to the cobalt blue sea animated with white gulls and what look like lily pads everywhere. I am not sure what the seated boy and girl are doing, but they look pretty engaged with it! I find there is an appealing
