I like the connection between the figure mining for fish hidden below the surface of the ice and the box itself as a place where treasures are concealed and kept safe

There is a bit of dust caught in one corner underneath the glass and some dings to the wood on the perimeter of the tray but it is is very good overall condition

I love to imagine the delight OH Whitman must have taken in using these (and what a perfect name), and that he will continue to be imagined whenever one uses, or simply looks at them, yet.
