Description
At twelve years of age
this hasn't changed a great deal since my last review except that the length is now even more phenomenal and the supporting tannins are a bit more apparent
This is built-to-age and is going to need plenty of it
There is an actively tannic component that is grippy and drying
This is very good and if you can find it
Chateau Meursault, Corton Rouge other_regions_italy At twelve years of age(from Les Vergennes and Rognets). A pungent nose of wood and reduction dominate the underlying fruit today. Otherwise the round and velvet textured flavors possess both good volume and excellent richness, all wrapped in a mildly austere and reasonably well balanced finish that offers good if not exceptional complexity. There is a hint of warmth but its not intrusive and overall this is a relatively forward Corton that could be enjoyed relatively young
