In silvered bronze with black enamels, measuring 45 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), cross and crossed swords clasp in silvered bronze with black enamels affixed to its original two stripes ribbon with pinback, intact enamels, very light contact, scattered silvering wear, near extremely fine. Footnote: The First World War (AKA Great War) Cross was issued in two grades with six classes: Gold Grade: I Class with three stripes on the ribbon; II
