Mid-Century Cocomalt Can Turned Make Do Magnifier smiling figure this very fine Northwest CoastI love this thing. Cocomalt was a powdered drink additive, like Ovaltine, that was marketed as a healthy and also delicious way to add nutrients to milk. Someone, probably in the 1950s or so, turned this Cocomalt can into a magnifying glass Works great, and it's a very fun one to use with considerable heft, hard to lose track of! Perfect for the desk and seems quite indestructible. Heavy glass at either end. 4 3 8" t x 3 9 16" d, weighs just a little
